Best friends!!

Cole and I are so lucky to have our line up of babysitters every week.  Between Linda (Cole's mom) and my dad we have been so blessed to have semi-retired parents help us out with Hazen.  We also hit the jack pot with our friend Erin who watches Hazen 2-3 days a week.  Her daughter Kloey is just 2 months older then Hazen. They have quite the fun time together and I always wish I could be a fly on the wall watching them!  I love the pictures Erin sends along with the funny stories. Needless to say there is never a dull moment with the two of them around!

He wears many hats!!

Before Hazen was born his Aunt Melissa got him a ton of really cute hats!! He LOVES them! Every time we put a hat on him he hams it up for the camera like he knows he's looking good!!

5 months old

This little guy is growing so fast!!! At 5 months old he has started eating more and more baby food. He loves it!! You can't shovel it in his mouth fast enough! Now that the weather is warming up we have been using the swing Santa got him. He could just sit outside forever even if the swing isn't moving! It amazes me how quickly he has grown up right before our eyes!!

Hazen was so excited to try rice cereal (or at least I was excited for him).  He made some great faces and of course most of it poured out of his mouth but overall it was a success and he's gotten to be quite the pro at eating!  

4 months old!!

Hazen is growing up way too fast for this momma!  He was such a good boy at the doctor!   He was also making flirty eyes at the nurse until she came in with those mean shots.  He was so brave and only cried for a little while.  She said his homework is to get more meat on his bones so it's easier to give him his shots.  We decided we'd work on it!

His stats: Height - 24.5" (25th percentile)

               Weight - 12 pounds (5th percentile)

               Head - 17" (75th percentile) (For all those brains to fit!!)

Bring on 2013!!

I got the extreme pleasure of having two very handsome New Year's dates to bring in 2013!! Grandma bought Hazen some fancy duds and New Year's Eve was the perfect time to show them off at a party at Gigi and Papa's house and to say goodbye to Aunt G and the Castros.

5th Anniversary!!

It's so hard to believe that Cole and I have been married for 5 years!  We've had so many wonderful adventures since December 29, 2007, the greatest of which arrived on September 11, 2012!  For our anniversary we decided to stay close to home since I am still nursing Hazen.  Cole tricked me into letting me plan our anniversary with a nice dinner and staying at the Skirvin (where we stayed on our wedding night) and then come to find out he had planned a suprise trip to a Bed and Breakfast in Guthrie.  It was beautiful and quaint and of course the pumpkin pancakes for breakfast were to die for!  Thank you to my amazing husband!  I love you so much and can't wait for all of the new adventures to come!
